Our Tuesday classes at Shanti in the Arts in the Armory Building have been a big success! We are thrilled to be able to further serve the Somerville community by expanding to Union Square. This Spring we will open a new location at Third Life Studio in the heart of Union Square. Our beloved teacher Ashley Korecki will offer Wednesday classes at 9am, 10am, and 11am.

Our Music Together® Preschool Program at Torit Language Center Montessori in Downtown Crossing, has been a huge success over the past 3 years. Our fabulous teacher Barbara Brousal has had a wonderful time this semester working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers there, as well as with the Torit teaching staff. Now, we are pleased to be offering mixed-aged parent/child Saturday classes at Torit School! Barbara will be teaching a 10am & 11am class.

Since many parents work during the week, our week-end classes are a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and make music with their child. Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Siblings, and Cousins often come along to join the fun! Our Saturday classes have long been a favorite in Cambridge, and Sundays at Innerspace in Brookline continue to be a hit! NEW PARENT EDUCATION MOMENTS!
As you know, the Music Together teaching method has a strong basis in current research on childrens' music development. New families receive an informational DVD to guide them in their understanding of primary music development, and a songbook illustrating enriching ways they can encourage their child's musical learning at home. Our teachers are early childhood music experts and incorporate educational moments in their lessons.
Now, in addition, Music Together has developed another interactive way to increase our understanding, by launching a monthly Parent Education VIDEO segment, focusing on a different concept each month. CHECK OUT THIS MONTHS PARENT EDUCATION MOMENT : THE IMPORTANCE OF RYTHMIC PLAY!
